All good advice for masters of their craft like Dale. For most of us punters letting winners ride (if we are lucky enough to have winners) might be the better course. Cut your weeds, trim your roses.
It is the number one reason why most should not "trade" the market, sans qualified guidance. Handling volatility is psychologically extremely difficult. Hence the reality of retail (even fund managers!) selling the most at bottoms and buying the most at tops. Money is a curious mistress. Morgan Housel's many lessons are easily applicable to other areas of life/happiness/fulfillment as well. Thanks for the chat!

Yup that’s totally fair - I think a lot of it comes down to individual psychology too
